Who I AM

I went to Humboldt State for biological anthropology, with a dash of philosophy and a sprinkle of psychology. Then the real world approached all too fast and I decided on a path that was stable and that I was passionate enough about at the time.

I joined a competitive Doctor of Psychology program, completed one semester, and realized it was a dumb degree to get financially, for a therapist, so I switched to a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy. Nearing the completion of this degree, I joined a fellowship in couple’s therapy. What a wild ride that was. I saw more than a full case-load every week, mostly couples, with some individuals - who were mostly men.

Two years later, I left to help take care of my mom. I also realized that I really hated being an employee. I also admitted to myself that I hated therapy in general… which brings us here today.

I decided to run my own business where I provide the guidance and support which my clients found super helpful, minus the insufferable therapist platitudes and BS.

I look forward to developing a wonderful, real and professional relationship with you!
